Maintaining Your Cutting or Charcuterie Board
Your board has been finished with two coats of Howard’s Mineral Oil and one coat of Howard’s Conditioner. These products are food safe and have not been in contact with nuts, gluten or other allergens and will not go rancid. The mineral oil will penetrate the wood to strengthen it and keep moisture out. The conditioner consists of beeswax and carnauba wax which will keep the mineral oil in and moisture out, will rejuvenate the wood and helps prevent drying and cracking. If your board looks or feels dry re-apply a coat of the conditioner following the directions on the bottle.
